P1652 IAC Monitor Disabled by PSP Switch Failed On

Post by anwisdom »

Ok, so I got this code (p1652) and I don't really know what it means. :dontknow: Just doing a search on Pontiac Bonneville Club I get results for Fan 2 Relay, but the DTC page(http://www.pontiacbonnevilleclub.com/fo ... ilit=p1652) says it is IAC Monitor Disabled by PSP Switch Failed On.
IAC - idle air controller, got that part.
PSP - purple snuggly porcupine? phoenician swing pusher? power steering pump?
Over all, the code means....?

Ok, that's one of the things I mentioned that I found. So then what is this? (http://www.pontiacbonnevilleclub.com/f ... ilit=p1652) IAC Monitor Disabled by PSP Switch Failed On

Both fans seem to be working. So unless the control circuit failure does not cause the either fan to cease working, then I don't think that is the issue.
