Polished he rear bumper cover and tails since they weren't so great from the body shop. Really getting impatient waiting for my tires.

Installed new Power Stop rotors and pads on all 4 corners. I thought it would take a few hours to do, boy was I way off. 13 farkin hours, a ton of words that cannot be repeated here, and couple of scraped up knuckles later they are finally on. What a pain in the ass...

Wheel cleaning and waxing led to a touch up the calipers and then polish and waxing of the cowbells.

Re: What did you do to your car today?
Installed all new pads and rotors. Went pretty well. The first rear one was a little tricky but the rest were easy. I then got my mudflaps installed and gave it a quick wash. Ran out of time so next weekend's task is control arm/ ball joint replacement. Gave everything a good look and think I know what I'm up against now. May pick up a new sway bar bushing also this week

That's a nice looking camera.
I changed my oil today and ran into a very tight filter and a very very tight Drain plug. Took an hour to get them off. I got to the point where i thought was gonna cry. It was spooky as the bolt finally broke loose at the same time with the vice grips and a hammer. Tore the bolt head up good. I don't remember tightening that much...good guess... but wrong

Re: What did you do to your car today?
Yesterday I put the last band clamp on the headers that I had been putting off, and I also re wired the left front abs sensor. Much to my despair the right side also had a broken wire, but I fixed it today and no more lights and bonging hopefully for a long while.

Re: What did you do to your car today?
yesterday I changed my RF wheel bearing again. I used a Precision brand part. Top of the line at Oreillys but I know its not a Timken. Last one lasted 2 years so I'll see.
No more pulling to the right when cruising or stopping. No loud whirr on the highway. Shes quiet and smooth. And perhaps no more vibration in the gas petal.
I also topped of my ATF with a bit of lucas stop slip. And I finished recovering my drivers side visor.
My upper rad hose sprung a leak. I cut the end with the hole in it off and hooked it back up.

Installed new driver side control arm/ ball joint. New sway bar bushing. Refinished headlights, repainted grille inserts and wiper arms, and polished the car, shampooed carpets.

Polished and waxed the '92 yesterday. It gets that treatment once a year - I hate polishing cars!

Re: What did you do to your car today?
Yesterday restored the headlights finally, polished the tinted tails, picked up some mufflers and hot the PCM flashed and tuned by ZZP. On top of the shift kit I definitely feel when it shifts and it is a much nicer ride trans wise. Haven't topped it out yet but I got up to 105 in second gear and was still climbing up RPM's so I'm happy with it

Re: What did you do to your car today?
A guy at the shop asked me for a jump and we were on a busy street without much room next to traffic. We figured pulling up beside him would be to much of a traffic hazard because the 01's Battery is in the back seat. His cables were just long enough to reach with me in front of him. If we'd have tried with me in back It wouldn't have reached. His truck started right up. He had just bought a Fender Amp. so I hope he got it checked out.

Re: What did you do to your car today?
Went down to the garage and got my new tires put on and balanced. Afterwards I changed my own oil for the first time. Also decided to drop and clean the transmission pan, replace the fluid and install a new filter. Trans fluid change is definitely a messy job! It's really awesome to be able to do everything with a lift at the garage too. She runs a little smoother now, so that's a plus!

Re: What did you do to your car today?
The other day I installed my front mudflaps, and also put my new Finnish flag valve stem caps on... Lookin' pretty spiffy!
Re: What did you do to your car today?
Replaced the RF wheel hub on my '99 Bonneville.
Was easier than I expected. Didn't need and impact wrench, just used a breaker bar. Of course the speed sensor cover got stuck in the knuckle, so I used a grease seal puller and it came right out.
