I replaced it with a solid mount. Using nuts and bolts and a 5 inch hourglass boat roller.

Another broken mount!
So my car started giving me the signs of a bad motor/tranny mount. I had my wife video the motor moving around and it moves a good 5-6 inches.
I replaced it with a solid mount. Using nuts and bolts and a 5 inch hourglass boat roller.

There you go. The factory replacement mounts are pretty much all trash.

He basically did the hockey puck mount but in place of hockey pucks he used a boat trailer roller instead as the spacer.Ramcharger310 wrote:What solid mount are you referring too?

I did the boat roller too. Put a 4 inch, hourglass shaped roller in.
