Michigan meet 2014! June 12th - 16th ROLL CALL!!!

Due to a myriad of problems that have suddenly cropped up, it's looking doubtful that I'll be able to make it.

I have thursday-Monday off work, so my attendance comes down to whether the car is in ship shape by then. I'm neck deep in the oil cooler/dual filter setup, I need to change my alignment settings, further investigation the front end rattle from hell aand try to make the car rain worthy.

I'll be happy to have mine on the road by then

Ryan has the tale of whoa, but the main thing is a broken spring on the right front. Too far to drive with the spring rubbing against the mount bypassing the bearing. If the parts come in in time, I'll be there.

I'll be there Saturday night and most of the day Sunday. If anyone attending has computer troubles, bring it along and I'll fix it. I do professional computer repair for a living. I just bought my GXP and a week later I already get to meet you guys. I'm looking forward to it!

You will have a great time, Saturday night is the best night as that's when the big fire happens. Sunday will have many people leaving but there is a few staying until Monday, either way though we will be out messing with the cars all weekend.

Will you be meeting us in Detroit or just heading right to my place on Saturday?

Tires, the last thing I needed done, are being put on as I post this!

But, looks like my driver side wheel bearing is going. Sucks too, as I just had new AC Delco's (both fronts) put on winter of 2010, and probably only put 40,000 miles on ot. Bummer...

Bad front bearing on the '03 too, it will be changed out during the meet. Takes me a half hour to swap one

I've got Chloe mostly buttoned up now. Need the change the oil, top off the coolant, run some vacuum lines, wire up the IC pump and flash a tune to the PCM tonight. Napa should have my new SC belt first thing in the morning. Hopefully the rest works out and I'll be more or less good to go.

I'm supposed to be at the dyno by 10am. You're welcome to join up when I pass thru or meet up a bit later on. I was told tuning typically takes him 2-3 hours. I think Cody is planning to meet up with us at the dyno a bit later.

So, I'm assuming then you'll be rolling through around 7-8ish? I'm cool with that, as I should be plenty awake, and I know Tim will already be awake. I figure we might as well join as you come through, since we're all going the same direction. I don't mind hanging out as you get tuned, as this would be my first visit to a dyno.

Don't forget a tent if you're crashing outside, bug spray, and a chair! This is going to be a great meet for sure, absolutely zero drama allowed which has never been an issue in the past and I don't expect it to be this year either. I still have a ton of prep work to do, hopefully I can have it done by Thursday afternoon

Still need to change my alignment sesettings and replace my fuel filter. I also need to put together all the stuff for the trip and assemble a tool kit and pull a wheel off the intrigue to use as a spare.

Google maps tells me that the meet is 2 hours from my house, and the excuses for not making it there are few....

Saturday and Sunday I am slated to be autocrossing in Toledo. But Thursday and/or Friday, I should be able to get up there, perhaps someone could even help me sort out the drivability issue I am now experiencing: http://www.pontiacbonnevilleclub.com/fo ... 43164.html

So the Intense 3800 will be out, but the Michigan Meet... Why not?

Gas here right now is around $3.95 for regular and $4.25 for premium, fill up before getting into Michigan!
