How many of you s/c induction. Guys actually drive them everyday and what is your average. Gas mileage?

I drove my SSEi daily for 5 years, 08-13. Best tank ever was 24 MPG, average was 20-21. My results were NOT average. What's going to affect your mileage is how you drive it, and what you do when you finish building your motor (Cam, other mods, etc).

Yeah im aware of that as ive. Built 2 rear wheel drive v8's, . I was just curious to see what sone of these guys get. Thanks for the reply

2003 SSEi bought with 125,000 on it now just over 260,000 on it... I guess you could say it's a daily driver :lol: normal driving we get around 23 - 24 MPG, highway trip at 75 - 85 MPH we get 25 - 27 MPG.

I was getting 22-ish mixed, 27 freeway with the NIC cam. 24/30mpg fwy before the cam.

I use my 1992 SSEi daily and average 26 imperial mpg (about 24 USmpg, I think?). That's a mixture of urban and highway driving, although mainly shorter trips these days.

Dad usually gets around 27-29 highway in his Park Avenue Ultra, depending how he drives it lol. City he sees around 21 or 22.

Had my 95 SSEi from 2008-2011. 21mpg lifetime average with mixed driving; high teen's city, low 30's highway. Best ever was 36mpg.

I average just under 20 mpg mixed, mostly city though. One the freeway at about 70 I could probably manage about 25 average for a longer trip.
At about 55 my DIC tells me I could possibly achieve somewhere between 30-35 mpg.

My car is tuned for pretty aggressive cruising ignition advance though. Also keep in mind your burning premium fuel and not regular. It's not much more per fill up, but it adds up a bit.

I get about 17 with my daily commute but can get 26-28 on longer roadtrips.

So rough average. Is. 25mpg over all. That works beats the 9npg my grand torino gets but that is definately not meant as my dd

I have a 21 MPG average for 2014 so far. 90% city driving.

Personal record was 46 MPG.

Just got the new 2001 last week and totally bone stock it's averaging 18 around town and on the freeway this week, it stayed steady at 28 which the fill up seemed to confirm. Chunked the factory airbox this afternoon so maybe it will breathe a bit better and get a hair more.

I drive mine daily and see 15-17 in town. Usually 25-27 on the highway. I will admit that I like the happy pedal and love some whine while driving.

It's pretty bad when I consider getting 15 mpg in my SE a good tank especially with you supercharged guys getting at least 20...... :roll:

Ouch! Sounds like you have a bad sensor somewhere. Maybe the Engine Coolant Temp Sensor or maybe the oxygen sensor (lambda probe)?
What would be the best way to check on those? Would there be any codes?
