I'm still down, is there anyone local to Albany that can recommend a place to meet up? July is fine for me. I made some meet suggestions in April but got no response, others can feel free to chime in as well.

Maybe we could get something going over in the Syracuse/Rochester/Buffalo area since this has died?

2 Door Hard-top
Re: New york meet pt 2 (TRI-STATE) !!(attendees added)
On 8/30/2014 - I just loaded my 1975 Pontiac Bonneville 2-door hard-top on a truck to transport to the USMMA at Kings Point, Long Island NY.
My dad bought it and gave it to me a decade later. I moved to China Lake California where it spent much of its life in the area.
Later, moved to Denver, Colorado. It has 250,000 miles of adventure.
My son is a midshipman in his senior year at http://www.usmma.edu
All midshipmen are engineers who spend 300 days at sea the 2nd year around the world on cargo and military ships. They train for the 3rd class Coast Guard license as engine engineers. A typical class is about 250 midshipmen. Lots of mechanical skills and love for the classic power cars of the 60's and 70's. It is one of the 5 Federal Service Academies under the Dept of Transportation. The USMMA are well known for the "hands-on" training
So, as one might imagine, they have an amazing shop on campus for training and education. They take on various projects, typically the older cars that will teach about engines, transmissions, electrical, air-conditioner .... all of the basics used in the industry.
My son got this car as one of the projects.
He will have to buy 100% of all the parts and materials. In theory, there will be around three dozen mechanics assigned task to dis-assemble, rework, and re-assemble the car.
I would appreciate anyone who might help him find the parts, manuals, or other general advice for this project.

If there are still meetings, please let me know. I will forward them to my son.
