While I'm not making any predictions and I've said myself that I don't think it runs as strong as it should, why wouldny I expect to make more power than pats car? He did 318hp with a stock longblock and stock cam. Is he using nitromethane and unicorn pee for fuel?

Based on my 1/4 mi time, vehicle weight and trap speed, I'm only at around 300 whp
With that in mind I will amend my guess to 315 fwhp not the overly optimistic 345.....

All very good points and I consider today sort of a baseline to figure out if I'm even in the ballpark of where I think I should be. Torque seems a little low to me, possibly why it doesn't feel as strong as you'd like? Do you have the torque and HP curves?
