Dyno Time: any guesses?
I'm making a few pulls on Friday just to see where I'm at. No tuning other than possibly swapping pullies and maybe disconnecting he exhaust out of curiosity.
So who wants to make a guess at where ill be? Closest guess wins a special prize.
For those who don't know, the motor has 9.5:1 diamond pistons, ported head@, s1x cam, 1.8 rockers, wbs 2.5" intercooler, ported gen 5, n* tb, ls1 maf, speed daddy's, 42.5# inspectors and I'm currently running a 3" pulley with some belt slip and .5* of kr at wot. I'm tuned for about 18.5 degrees of timing and 11:1 afr.

345 rwhp
I'll be interested in the gain with the exhaust dropped.

Between here and facebook, the average guess looks like around 340hp or so. Keep em coming.

Re: Dyno Time: any guesses?
I was getting massive slip when using the 2.9" pulley....black belt particles plastered the hood.
I bought a supplemental idler pulley to create more wrap around the SC pulley.....but haven't installed it yet.
The torque these engines produce with the smaller pulley's is impressive, to say the least.

Re: Dyno Time: any guesses?
I don't het black belt dust since I started using an 8 rib bit my tensioner is really weak and I imagine its gotta be slipping some. I can turn the pulley with an Allen wrench in one of the bolts with ease. It's much better with a 3" though.
I plan to make two pulls on normql settings and one with a 2.8, drop the exhaust and throw some 110 in the tank.

LOTS of Mods
Re: Dyno Time: any guesses?
keep in mind i did 313 with a 2.8 pulley on rockers.
HP was a direct relation to the Pulley size. Im going to say 320 just because of the pulley size and heads

Re: Dyno Time: any guesses?
Pat, i have a full point higher compression, ported heads and more duration. What size pulley foes a naturally aspirated engine use? Definately more to it than that.
Unfortunately I've never felt that o was getting what I wanted out of it. That's why I've been passively shopping for a stage 3 cam. Either that or build a turbo setup, but I'd rather focus on my next project.

New blower belt tensioner, air filter and fuel filter going in today. Put a fresh set of tr6s in a couple days ago. Nobody could get tr7s locally. Trying to think of anything else that might help me out.

Re: Dyno Time: any guesses?
Well, I'll revise my FB guesses, knowing what you're planning for the dyno.
I still say 310whp/350trq as it sits, if they correct for power at the crank then I can see 360hp/420trq.
Pulley down will pull 330whp/380trq, crank #'s around 400/480.
