Headlights

Post by camoman733 »

I have a 2001 Bonneville SSEi and i have the stock headlights still and i was wonder what i have to do to convert it to the pure white headlights in both the fogs and the headlights. i don't want to convert it and i don't want to buy new headlights... Also how much wiring am i going to have to do to change them to the pure white or is it as simple as different bulbs?

The best way would be an HID retrofit, complete with projector housings. This is a complete custom job and would run $250 or so. Do NOT run HID bulbs in your stock reflector housings, it will blind all oncoming traffic and is illegal.

The only other way is new bulbs that are usually tinted blue that will give off a white light.

No HIDs. You can run tinted halogens.

I might be doing a run of retros this summer for 2000+ owners. Nothing is for sure yet. I will see how much time I have between working and social life.

I honestly have never seriously looked into it, no money for that sort of stuff right now so I haven't bothered  do some searching around here though and you will find that several members have done some really nice retrofits.

I'd be interested in a set for my GXP if you are still gonna do it. I have no free time from moving and starting a new job.
