Erratic idle

Post by Bonneville'n »

I'm looking for some help...my idle fluctuates from 1000 to 2000 rpm especially at start up... But also does its when warmed up and driving. This started a couple of weeks ago.
I've also been getting a bank 1 to lean code going on and off for a couple months.
I had a used '04 L32 and N* installed a few months ago as well...
Any ideas? :dontknow:
Thanks for the help

Vacuum leak. Use carb cleaner and spray the gasketed surfaces and the vacuum lines and if the idle settles down for a second when you spray a spot, that's the leak.

Did you get the appropriate tune for the different TB and MAF?

If you are getting a code, have you tried replacing the oxygen sensor?

Also could very well be the MAF readings if it isn't a vacuum leak.

Check for vacuum leaks as Ed mentioned. Then try the MAF sensor.
