Regal GS inserts

Post by myfirstbonnie »

I just ordered a set of inserts for the Regal from a different forum. Here is what they look like on someone elses Regal. I like the traditional Buick colored logo they dropped. I will post pictures of mine when I get them and they are installed.

IMO it looks MUCH better with the filled in emblems. I'm glad I'm not the only one that was bothered by the fact that Buick dropped the color out of the logos. I think it makes it stand out a lot more, especially with the way I have my grill now. Also loving the red GS badges! The GS and the SS are definitely my two top choices for my next car, just depends on which one I can afford hahaha.

Meh. It looks cleaner without them and it's less distracting too. That's just my opinion though.
They probably went without the colors in an effort to change the brand's image. I think it helped.

The red GS badge looks good though.

I love the red, white, & blue logos on the Buicks. Those who are my friends on Facebook know why. :P

I like it. I love the deeper hue, semi-transparent, hood ornaments. Especially the color backwards look:

Because that's what we (Buick drivers) got to see on our hoods from the driver's seat.

I guess it shows I'm an old "buzzard". I love the "old" logo with the red, white and blue shields. It really doesn't look like a Buick to me without them. That is one fine looking Regal! I just wish GM made a vehicle I can get in and out of easily. When the current CTS-V is moved to the new platform, GM won't make a single vehicle I can get in our out of easily with the exception of a very few front passenger seats. - BC

All are done except the front grille. Between 2012 and 2013, Buick decided to stop making the backing plate to the emblem. Either going to fabricate one or see about purchasing a 2012 emblem. On with the pics:

Can I have the info on the red GS logos and the inserts? I have a pearl white GS and I think the red would contrast well. Thanks

I am not real impressed with the sizing and such, but they do look good. I plan on getting some paint and just painting them.

PM sent with link information to the forum they are on.
