If you look here you can download a 150 page installation guide and it lists all the parts I used. It cost over $2000 but it gave me a nice project to work of for 5 months.

That really does look clean in that car. Can the headunit itself be installed simply just as a radio? Does it have input built into the screen for an aux port? I saw in your other thread that you mention it's a Lilliput 669 HD but all those that I see look quite a bit different (buttons on the bottom). The programming you did for the Bonneville screen looks AMAZING! Great work.

I love my Pioneer touch screen head unit, but that set up is off-the-chart COOL!
(Wicked, Awesome, Slick...insert chosen expletive) Great job!

The monitor is easier to install than a radio because you do not have to cut out behind the original radio to make it fit. It is just a monitor. The witing is the hard part. The PC is under the passenger seat, Sirius receiver above the glove box sirius antenna in the shark fin, AM/FM HD in the trunk. DVD palyer and 4 port USB hub in the glove box, and aux input and another USB port next to the seat heater switches, bluetooth mic built into the steering column cover just behind the steering wheel. GMOS-09 adaptor behind the monitor, steering wheel control interface on the side of the middle of the dash above the left lower trim panels.
The monitor had a VGA, HDMI, and Video 1 and 2 (rec plug) inputs. Video 2 is hooked up to the back up camera and auto switches on when the car is in reverse. The VGA is connected to the PC and video 1 to the dash cam. It is powered by 12 volts run from the PC power supply so it turns on automatically when the PC turns on. The PC turns on and off with retained accessory power.

Very nice job on this. I wonder if something similar can be done with one of those android sticks

I do love the GXP as a whole...but I'm too far in on mine to consider changing at this point! LOL
