Aeroforce Firmware Upgrade

Post by viper8907 »

Has anyone sent in their gauge to upgrade to the next version that is capable of doing CASE learns? I'm thinking about doing it. Sometime in the near future I plan on getting an Intense PCM, and it would be nice to not have to mess around with the dealership.

I am thinking about doing this. But if you want, i have HP tuners and you can just order up a bin file and for another $100 we can license up your car and load it up so you don't have to worry about the dealer.

Just a thought guys.... I got my PCM tuned by a friend's HP Tuner. I was able to find two other guys to go in on unlocking the entire year ($200). Everyone saved a buck.

As mentioned above, you can do that. Other wise it is $100 a vehicle unless we unlocked an entire year, but would take a few folks to pitch in for it to save $

It takes 3 people. Or the guy with the tuner collects $100 from one person, adds a $100 and has the year unlocked for future folks.

so far I've unlocked
1997
1999
2000 (maybe)
2001
2003
One vin for an 04 Monte Carlo
One vin for an 03 Xtreme S10

Still if the person wasn't local, the Aeroforce would be a great tool for scanning, reading DTC's and Case learning. I asked about the update and was told something like $10 or $20 plus $7 for shipping.
