Vibration and sometimes chirp on acceleration.

Post by Franksdad »

I'm assuming this is a loose belt, I just need to know what i can do to diagnose and correct the issue appropriately.

Thanks love you guys. :beerchug:

Chirp is probably a belt, but the vibes I don't know. More descriptive info please!

Sure, the chirp from the belt went away it was an unusually wet day yesterday with huge puddles everywhere, the vibrations simply feels like it's coming straight from my motor mount or something. and it's only when i initially accelerate from a stop for a brief second the car vibrates hard.could this be a transmission issue?

I would just check the mounts.

Pop the hood, and rev the engine, is it rocking steadily?

^^^Have a buddy STAND on the brake while you gently rev the car at the throttle body. Is the motor moving around a lot?
