Re: T 465 E
They have a couple of common issues, and they don't like much over factory power.
Other than that, with regular maintenance and responsible driving, they are a great transmission. Especially when you consider they haul around ~2 tons of FWD metal with a motor that produces torque basically off of idle.

Re: T 465 E
Larger TB is pointless, your car will run worse because it will be breathing in unmetered air. You need a MAF retune for a larger TB if I am not mistaken, and even then on an NA I doubt you would even notice a difference.
The 4T60 was vacuum operated, and most regard the 4T65 as the superior transmission.

Re: T 465 E
4T65e is stronger, 4t60e is better for a DD IMO.
4T65e's develop pressure control solenoid issues around 150,000 miles and are prone to 4th gear shaft failure.
4T60e's tend to run too hot. Most of their failures are because of this.
Every 4t60e car I've had has gone well over 200,000 miles on the stock transmission with a trans cooler and regular changes.
Every 4t65e car I've had has needed a rebuild because of either the PCS or the 4th gear shaft.

Get an intake instead. Don't waste your money on the TB.

Re: T 465 E
I agree. Larger TB is worthless until it becomes the bottleneck in the system. It's nowhere close right now.
Bye Bye:
