Woodward 2014

Yes, we're planning early.

Woodward 2014 is the weekend (Saturday), of August 16th "technically". Reality is though, it's the whole week leading up to it.

With that said, Will and I, plan to head up after work Wednesday night (the 13th), and stay through Sunday just like this past year. Some CHC guys may be in attendance, and I'm sure we'll at some point in time, hook up with the locals (Matt, Ryan).

Just putting this out there. As I have posted on our local CHC board, I will probably make my reservations now at the same place we stayed at last year, simply because it's cheap. We won't spend much more time there than to sleep and sh*t and shave in the morning. So I personally don't need 5 star accomodations.

I have missed the last two years and I'll be *dang* if I will miss this year what motel did you stay at before? We always stayed at Motel McGuires in Pontiac, http://goo.gl/maps/LZpdT the place is definitely no five star, but is cheap and not in a horrible area. We have stayed there the last three times we went down. Depending on how things are at that time, I may or may not stay there for a few days, but will at least meet up for some cruising.

Marvins Garden Inn in Southfield. $60/night. The thing is, it's close to 696, and it's close to the 12 mile/13 mile area we spend most of our time hanging out. We do cruise up to Pontiac, but spend enough time there to loop around and come back down.

Which one? The doomsday, if you don't find God one? Or the one that someone got ahold of some gorilla glue and ran amuck in a toy shop? That might have actually been a car now that I think about it.

I guess that's better than someone turning the school bus into your home, like out in Maine. For real! I'd expect something like that in Wisconsin. Not Maine.

I would love to join this year, but it's too early to tell right now. I have a few trips I'm planning this year, and money and available time off will determine if I can attend. Money is also going to Bonneville and G8 mods, and LeSabre repairs.
