95 Bonneville SE lower intake (GM aluminum) gasket part #?
I am assembling parts to do the UIM and LIM on our 95' Bonneville. I have already purchased the newer model intake and gaskets but am having problems finding the GM aluminum LIM gaskets on line. The part number I have is 89017816 and/or 89017825. When I put these part numbers into Amazon they say not correct for a 95' Bonneville. Anyone have the correct GM part numbers or where to purchase on line?

Go with Fel-Pro MS98014t. Available at any parts store that carries Fel-Pro gaskets. Do yourself a favor and get the aluminum coolant elbows at the same time.

Here is the thing, The blocks in 95-97 do not have the locating holes for the dimples or ears on the manifold end seals, all of the later blocks do..Bonneville'sRock wrote:I am assembling parts to do the UIM and LIM on our 95' Bonneville. Now with that being said I have used these gaskets on the 95-97 Series II engine a multitude of times, Generally you install dry but I hate any seeps so I use a tad of silicone gray on the bottom of the end seal and set it in place same for the other side.. I run a small bead on top as well..
The 89017816 set is the one I use on all 3800 series II engines from 95-05, also the same for the series III..
The 89017825 does not come with the coolant bypass gasket.. Some of the time that little gasket is needed other times its not, but I do recommend it gets replaced when you do the lower..
Either set will work for you..
