93 Bonneville Pics

Post by KCBonneville »

Here are some pictures I took of my 93 Bonneville SE. I'm no photographer, but hey, I tried!
The full story behind this car can be found in the introductions section. But in short:
Trim: SE (it has a "Sports Appearance Package" according to my grandfather)
Mileage: 82,000
Owners: Then-GM of nearby General Motors plant (Fairfax or maybe even Wentzville) 1992-93, my grandparents 1993-2013, me 2013-present.
Modifications: None. Bone stock after all these years.
I know it's just a stock SE, but I still thought I'd put a few photos up.

Right after the car wash:

Another angle:

I've had a few people comment on what a long car this is:

The other side's looking pretty clean, too:

The leather interior:

I'm not kidding when I say this car was barely driven by my grandparents:

A shot of those fog lights:

I still think these have aged well:

Early 90's tail lights:

Look what I found in the trunk!

nice low miles car. I think that was one of the most popular colors in the mid 90's.

That is a very nicely optioned SE - pretty unusual. She's in fantastic shape, with a great history and low miles, no less. Take care of her! Seems like there's less and less nice examples of these.

Great looking car! Wish my '92 looked that good, but it has 2.7 times more miles - lol. You are very fortunate to have a Bonneville in such great condition. I'm even a little jealous, and still extremely glad for you. - BC

It's very similar to my brother's old 92. Same color, wheels, tan leather, spoiler, no sunroof, and I can't quite tell if this one has them, but the rocker panels were the SLE style with more flare to them by the wheels than the base SE. Of course, his has 3 or 4 hundred thousand miles on it, and is currently lanquishing out at the farm.

Looks great! Almost like my old 92 but I didn't have a spoiler and you have a few better interior options

Looks terrific! Great to see such an unspoilt low-mileage example.

I get that a lot, but then I live in the UK. It's certainly longer than most cars on the road over here - the only things that match it in length being luxury cars like the Jaguar XJ and BMW 7-series.

In the US I thought the Bonneville was one of the shorter 'full-size' cars. But then I guess not that many people drive full-size cars these days.

That's a great looking Bonne!

I wonder, look on the spare tire cover and see if it has code H4U. That would be the SLE, "Sports Luxury Edition" package. That would explain a lot of the options, would it not?

No H4U until 93... 92's could be optioned out strangely... An example would be like in 91 you could option out an LE to have more options then the SE next to it...LOL

In 92 you could have had an SSE with a supercharger and more options than an SSEi parked next to it...LOL

In 93 GM added the SLE package for the SE Bonneville..

And the Bonneville from 87- end of production was in the 16 Ft long area...LOL
