Remove sticker from rear window

What works to remove a small college sticker from the inside of the rear window without damaging
the defogger stripes?

WD-40 doesn't seem to be doing the job working on the adhesive.

Definitely goo gone, I used that stuff all the time when I worked with vinyl lettering. You could also maybe try using a heat gun to soften the sticker, just be careful and don't leave it in one place too long (and obviously if the window is freezing don't use a heat gun to avoid cracking it). You could try a hair dryer, that would be a little safer if it's really cold.

You might try paint thinner/ mineral spirits, a pretty mild solvent that works pretty well on sticky stuff in my experience.

The goo gone will easily remove adhesive residue but you have to remove the decal first to get to the adhesive (unless it is paper). The heat gun may soften it up enough to peel it off or use your fingernail or a razor blade, but stay away from the wires when using the razor blade.

I've used rubbing alcohol to get stuff off of my windows, and it works pretty well. As for scraping, use a plastic putty knife or your finger nails and you should be in good shape.

If ya really want to open a can of whup-azz, you can try toluene, MEK or methylene chloride.
