supercharger question

Post by Bonneville_ssei_00 »

well last weekend I cleaned my supercharger and now should I replace the needle bearings just to be safe cause I really don't want to tear it all apart if they go bad? I have it torn apart right now how do I take them out?

If they still turn smooth by hand, I'd get the needle bearing grease and lube the needle bearings up.

The rotors look fine, you just don't want bare bright aluminum showing. Soot/carbon will build back up and close up the clearance left by removing the old stuff.

Did you soak the whole rotor pack in anything? I'm just thinking about the bearings on the other end of the rotors.

Intense, ZZP, and others have specific grease for the needle bearings.
