Hey guys, as promised here's my update with regards to my arrival, departure, etc.

Probably arriving at your place Ryan until around noon on Saturday (based on pit stops and border crossing traffic stuff). Would be nice to leave on Friday evening but no can do for me. (family plans that evening also don't have that young blood anymore)

Don't worry about me for sleeping arrangements, I've decided to just book the Super 8 in Saginaw as there pretty reasonably priced ($50.00/night) and they've just completed an entire renovation too.
I'll be staying two nights there so I'll max out my time each day at your place and planning to cruise back home on Monday with Jerry.

I am looking forward to some detail time too, I've have had a clear-coat blemish for a while now on my right rear quarter and don't know if Ryan could throw some of that "detail magic" of his on it...

Looking forward to the meet (my first) and executing our planned agenda...

Saginaw is about 45 minutes away and really not a great area, you should book a place in Midland as it is only about 15 minutes away and is a great place. Many hotels there so you shouldn't have any problem finding one. Saginaw has the nickname of sagnasty or just the nasty while Midland is rated among the top cities to raise a family

I will likely be crashing on some unreserved floor space as well. I could make the 45 min drive back and fourth but I know how these kind of festivities go!

Just as a heads up. I'm willing to go pretty cheap on all my GXP stuff to anyone that wants it. I really want/need to get rid of all of it, and not shipping it would be wonderful.

I will have another polisher by the time you all arrive, snagging up a Griot's Garage 6" to play with as my old UDM has taken a severe beating over the years and now hurts to use it (literally!) So that leaves a PC7424XP, my original, death trap UDM, and the new Griots polishers to play with for anyone that wants.

Also snagging up some new polishes that I have heard great reviews on both online and in person at a detailers gathering earlier this year. HD cut, HD polish, and HD speed, check them out at https://www.3dproducts.com/ These guys are coming out with some fantastic stuff and many people that have tried it don't go back to their old stuff.

As for any drives planned, at this point no, but that could change. There just really isn't anywhere exciting to drive around here :(

Ryan, I'm going to be interested in looking at and maybe trying out that Griot's Garage 6" polisher. Was thinking about getting that before next spring, and this would be a perfect opportunity to look it over.

Anyone that will be there on Sunday have vehichle wrapping experience?!? I need to wrap my bumper cover and have never done it myself. I'll bring the wrap if someone is willing to lend an experienced hand!

Vinyl wrap? I have played with it but never a bumper cover. I am sure we could figure it out though!

I stayed at the Midland Resort back in 2011, and really liked it. Big rooms with cold air, decent pricing, and close to Ryan's place. Only problem I had was when my friend and I stayed in 2011, there was some kind of dance/cheerleading group staying there, and they would run the halls all night (wasn't a problem after I fell asleep).

So I think I inadvertently did my next mod to the car last night... I found some fine swirl marks on my hood today, which is strange because I'm usually pretty strict about the dual-bucket thing. Eh, w/e... Anyways, I might need some time with one of those polishers as well. Do you have any light polishes or should I pick some up?
