Don if I ride up there we can't stay for too long. I may be over the bug I had, but I'm far from recovered. In fact that's the only reason I didn't show up yesterday after work. This afternoon I have an appointment with a neurologist to see exactly why the headache isn't going away after a month and a half of being sick. We won't need a separator, just need your sawzall to cut the links off and I think a 13mm.

Pat, off the top of your head, what's the diameter of the GXP front sway? I already have the urethane links, just will need the new bushings to go with it, and I might as well get urethane for those too.

Not so sure we'll be making that trip buddy... I was not feeling good at all yesterday and today I feel a lot worse.. Don't think I will be good By Thursday... :sadeyz:

Not sure how much longer the car will be there.. Maybe if I feel ok friday I'll ride up and see if I can fanaggle that bar out...

Don't worry about anything Brad... Just take care of yourself, and don't push too hard..

Decided to wait and save on the Addco 218 bar...it's a 32mm meant for a Deville that'll make the car a hoot on the corners

Speaking of Devilles...I robbed a local one of it's rear rotors and brackets, and a *cough weeze* Grand Prix's modded rear brake lines (stainless braided brake lines) that should work with the rear setup. Also on the way are a new fuel pump (A. To fix the sender issue and B. Because old fuel sat in it for many years and I ain't trusting it), some braided stainless fuel line, new rail/filter connectors (can you tell I'm revamping the fuel system?). Also coming is some 20% tail light tint.

I've started interior cleanup and window de-tint on it. I'm taking out the original neutral colored interior handles and replacing them with the '01's black handles to break up the monotony. Also, the front tweeters are being replaced with the old Infiniti adjustable tweets I had laying around which also lends some much needed modernization. Once I get the door panels and the dash the way I want them, the seats and carpet come out for some good deep cleaning, and I can drop the headliner and get it re-redone (original owner had it redone but in the wrong color).

HOPEFULLY...middle of winter, or early spring it'll make bodyshop for repaint and then be ready for daily driver status. Hopefully earlier than that, but if I can at least aim for October for everything BUT paint I'll be somewhat happy.

Is the deville bar like a solid performance upgrade? Or just bigger diameter tube?

Ah that makes more sense then! I was thinking it was a larger diameter tube and was wondering why you wouldn't go back for the gxp solid one.

Now i know though. "And knowing is half the battle!" -GI Joe
