152,000 check up
I have decided to leave my baby with a mechanic while out of town for the week. He is going to fix all those "little things" that annoy me daily. Of course I still need that ABS/TC light that has been on for the past 5 years, and fixing the dent my daughter put it in 3 years ago, is there anything else I should have him look at?

I most certainly hope you have much better success with your shop than I do with the shops (including the dealer) I use (they are ASE). I get fed-up having to clean up the messes they make, break "stuff" that wasn't broken. I do all I can, then get the youngest son when I can to do what I can't, and only the dealer or independent shop(s) as a last resort. - BC

Yup. Just had a shop replace the rack and pinion in my '97, only because I don't have a lift and the job looked nearly impossible without one. One of the worst things for me about getting old (I'm 66) is I can't do everything on my cars any more. I've been a car guy for over 50 years, and the fact is that I just hate to have anyone else work on my cars.
On the other hand, I also hate having my back, shoulders, and hands hurt for days afterwards.
This gettin' old ain't for sissies.
