Do you just want the springs, the STB, or do you want the struts and shocks too? We could make a trip and take my battery operated junk...lol... and what color is the interior on the 04?

Planned on getting everything I could suspension-wise, since it's all there. I think the STB may be gone, I didn't pay attention (shame on me).

The interior is charcoal. All the door panels are off of it and were in the car behind it (didn't check to see if they were damaged or not). The seats are still in there, and are heated. I brought a few remains of the '01s interior just for you, it's the HUD dash in case you're interested.

Brad we need to find a moment to get up there and snag the rest of the junk... Rare to see a GXP in a yard like that... My front door panels are messed up... Would love those if possible.. and the upper rear seat back...

Maybe after you get moved into your house we will head up early one morning...

So, I went ahead and pulled the trigger on this.

This only cost me 15 bucks! And with much thanks to Don, he was able to grab most of the GXP parts...both front strut assemblies and tower bar and the rear shocks. Hopefully I can make it out there next Friday and grab the other stuff.

I am gonna try to run out there Tuesday again with a large pry bar( Hope it will still be there )... Those springs are not far from coming out, they are just so stiff they don't want to compress.. How many bolts hold the rear suspension section to the car? The bar is just hanging there, but its held up on the body and the rear suspension section..

The rear bar is considerably larger than any SLE or SSEi... The front bar looks like its about the same size...

I ordered new batteries( Lithium Ion ) and a charger... Pretty good deal too... Happens to come with a 1/2 impact and a drill.. For some reason its cheaper to by an entire kit.. My NiCad batteries are about done, but gave me enough to knock the rear tire off and remove all the strut bolts as well as cut through some end links with the sawzall ...lol... I am hoping that the batteries get here Monday... I have gotten to a point where I hate turning wrenches unless I have to..

As well I am amazed with the DelPhi shocks used on the GXP, Interestingly enough the gas portion of the shocks are still good, and there is a lot of resistance with the dampening... Very surprised they are still good after 9 years.. Wonder how the fronts are..

If the front bar looks about the same, skip it. All that's left for me to do up front in that regard is to put poly center bushings and it should perform just as well. Not sure how many bolts hold up the rear cradle.

If its still there I'll see what I can grab.. Can't imagine what that SSEi will be like with a good proper suspension on it... Can's wait to see it finished..lol

I didn't get to them in time to use...I mean save...them. All I was able to get was the rear console vent (the one everyone seems to forget).

Mine is medium neutral option pack2, so I assume it should be the same color in theory.

That's about right. Don't need too much to complete the interior...B-pillars mainly, visors, console lid, going to swap in the charcoal steering wheel and column covers, or possibly have my current wheel recovered in some nice real leather I bought some time ago (perforated neutral tan), along with the shifter knob.

*Hopefully* work can resume on it this weekend, or at least get the car moved from Dons house to mine once the garage is cleaned back up from the move-in. I have a punchlist of stuff I need to finish up before moving on to whatever I want to do next: EVAP hookup, returnless injection (right now the returnless fuel rail is straight plumbed into the existing fuel feed with no regulation, not ideal but only way to get the car moving), build up the intake system, charge up the AC, and probably a few other things I can't remember this too fuggin' early in the am.

What I was able to grab...

The front struts complete
The rear shocks complete
The Strut Tower Bar
The Rear coil springs with rubbers
The rear sway Bar center bushings and brackets...

So most all of the GXP bits are here... Was really surprised to see a GXP in the Daytona Yard...lol
