oil problem

oil problem
I have a 03 SE and my check oil light comes on and i check my oil and im down a quart so ill add a quart even though i changed the oil mayb 1000 miles ago and then another 1000 miles or so go by and im down a quart again. Thishas been happening for awhile now and not sure why. Just recently i have been noticing very small oil stains on my driveway so now thinking i got a small oil leak. Any ideas?

Common oil leak areas: valve cover gaskets, oil pan gasket, rear main seal.

Park it overnight over a clean sheet of cardboard to help you identify where the leak is coming from.

1999 Trans Am WS6 M6 - LS6 block, LSX intake, P1SC supercharger, cam, rockers, Kooks headers, high output oil pump, double chain timing gear, 8 rib pullies, remote clutch bleed, bullet proof bell housing, catch can, 60# injectors, wide band O2, clutch, and lots of other stuff I can't remember right now

If the engine is dirty... try soaking with degreaser... pressure washing under best you can and then checking again... you can buy a dye that can be put in the oil... drive a little bit and check with a UV light and yellow glasses.. should be able to find it if its hard.. but if you get under there after a good cleaning you should be able to see your leak. x2 on oil pan, valve cover
