installed transgo shift kit. Not really much difference

Post by bmoseman »

well, i installed the transgo shift kit in my 01 sle. i had hard shifting when hot. i really dont feel any difference. it no longer shifts hard. its faster shift when normal driving but if i give alotta throttle it still shifts slow and pops a code. i havent had the code read yet. it may not have anything to do with it. my question is could i have installed the kit wrong? would the tranny still work correctly if i did? do i need to get in there and double check immediately or can i wait til i drop the pan again to add more good fluid? i was expecting a very noticable difference. any feed back on this would be appreciated.

Ok. day 2. The downshifts are much quicker and at low rpms it shifts excellent. high rpms 2-3 good but the 1-2 is a lil slow. now i am still questioning if i did it right. theres a spring on top of the accumulator pistons. ones bigger than tje other. which one goes where? Just so i kno i got it right. looking for some help here. thx
