I have a slight miss in my motor. I've heard seafoam is better than deep fried gold.
Questions:
- Is this true?
- how does it work?
- Can I use it with synthetic oil?

It is better than deep fried gold.
It is basically an all purpose cleaner. Cleans carbon deposits, and sludge. You can use it with any oil, but it is recommended to change the oil soon after putting it in, as it breaks loose all the junk in the crankcase.
Same with carbon buildup in the cylinders if consumed directly in the intake, or junk in the fuel system if dumped in the fuel tank.

I've used it on my 91 and it cleaned a bunch out from my grandparents... almost made the oil blacker than black. After putting in new plugs it runs as smooth as can be. I put half in the oil and half in the gas. I may do it again soon before my oil change.
I added the trans tune to the transmission and it helped smooth it out a bit but i have a feeling mine may need to be rebuilt.
Its meant for regular oil and synthetic.
