That's fair, but realize what the car had on it before, and the fact that the "new" tips were a freebe.
That's why I posted the first picture, so it could be compared to what it looks like now.

The dual/dual tips DO look nice, no doubt, but at a cost of $100+ for those compared to the $0.00
cost of what I put on his car, I say it was a no-brainer, and an improvement, regardless if it wasn't the "ideal" option at this time.

Thanks for all the comments guys, it's been a lot of fun working on his car, as my GXP needs very little, so I keep busy with his car.
My son benefits from my efforts, but I enjoy the work. Call me crazy :banghead:

I don't know if there was confusion, but I didn't mean they looked bad. They look great, especially since they were free, and you can't turn down free. I just meant that I couldn't personally decide if I like single or dual tips. I meant no disrespect towards you.

No problems, sorry if it came out wrong, I appreciate your input! :beerchug:
For years I have "eyed" the tips from the Acadia (dual/duals).
I always thought they would have looked good on my old 95 GP/GTP.

My son was actually hesitant at first about the thought of putting these single tips on, for the very reasons you guys have brought up, ( singles in the opening for duals), but he has since backed off on that after seeing them in person.
(At least I hope the likes them! :don't know: )
