Yes. I hope you realize this totally replaces the radio. No chimes, AM/FM,CD or normal dash mounted controls. Only 17 watts and the limitations of an iWHATEVER only system. Don't have time to look for more gotchas.

It would work, but I don't know why you would wanna go with that over a conventional system.

Does your car have a tape deck? The quality of the Tape adapters has improved immensely over the last couple years.

Just install a new head unit with ipod capability and you would be better off in the long run. If you are worried about he quality of sound now im pretty sure this will ruin it, and any future upgrades will be tough.

Used one in my last car for many years. Toward the end was having to wiggle it to get it to seat on the tape head.jenkins wrote:yeah i have one of those and it sounds decent, but with the volume cranked its not that loud
After hearing the system in the Bonnie realized the old speakers had been giving up the ghost too. Then playing CDs reminded me compressed music was better than no music but.....
........I know, the price for variety.

I know that replacing the head unit and speakers in my car was the best thing. I could have done. The head unit is low end alpine but it does the job.
2003 Pontiac Bonneville se Mods JBL speakers and apline deck cde-121. More to come in coming months
