Good pictures, and a great video! Really fun to read about. I'm really feeling bad about not making it this year. Seems like it's a whole lot of fun.

PM me if you'd like to use my quad quad-core server to host videos. :)

Pics will likely start rolling into this topic tomorrow. LONG day at the track. See the track updates in the WCBF vid topic.

PDXGTP (Thomas) brought my old SLEeper home and finished 2nd in our class at the dragstrip, also taking home the WCBF bracket racing trophy.

Bugsi made a STRONG showing, making it into the third round with myself and Thomas, but both Bugsi and I were sent packing in that round (VBCSpangler and Singscountry1967 made it into round 2 of eliminations before being bested).

:laughing3: She's driving a rental! Did she really race that?

From what I read in that paragraph, I assume the SLEeper did better than the Zilla. Was it in a different class?

Radomir, we're BRACKET racing. Slower cars get a head start (handicapping). The slowest car can win. It's all about driver consistency and car consistency run after run. Nothing about speed.

I'll leave it to Tracy to tell the story of what she drove.

Checking in from Bill's place, about to head out for a 10 hour drive home. I just want to say how much fun I had, how terrific it was to meet everyone, and what an honor it was to be in round 3 with Bill and Thomas against the Grand Prix club. Can't wait for next year!

Last full day in Corvallis, must say that I had a great time.

Lots of thanks to those who helped with my struts, and many thanks to Bill for his help and advice as well as allowing us to use his driveway and tools to make repairs, mods, etc.

We start the trek back home tomorrow morning bright and early.

Just got home about an hour ago. Had an AWESOME time, as usual. I gotta start getting ready to go to Australia, so I'll check back in a few days for photos and stuff. But anyways, met some great new people and hung out with the ones I already knew and had an amazing time. Thanks for the fun memories everyone!

The last week has been the climax of a year of anticipation for me. It was awesome.

Sure it could have been better if all mechanicals were perfect, but it wouldn't have changed the comraderie and friendship shared by almost 50 people who had more in common than just their cars. :hail:

I watched those two videos again that Vince took and they are so totally awesome and represent well some of the highlights. I can hardly wait for his final DVD production. :)

Just went though all the pictures, I finally made it to Red Deer about two hours ago, Left Bill's am 4am sharp. Made Lethbridge by 4:30 pm (Oregon Time). Left Lethbridge at 7:30pm made red deer by 10:15. I put a total of 1707 kms (1066miles) on the car today. Rough Average speed of 68-70mph. B.C Slowed us down a lot, tons of traffic.
Joels VOLT light was on in his car for the last 350 miles of the trip...made it just fine, started just fine after being shut off...Bizzare. Getting looked at soon.

As a side note: To all those who were part of signing and getting the Sympathy card for myself and my family(uncle passed away on Friday when I was at Bill's 1000 miles from home), I cannot express how much that means to us. My Parents/grandma were absolutely floored by it, Thank You to Everyone! I've said it before, and I will continue to say it as I can live by it, this club is not just a car club. I think I speak for everyone here when I say, the cars are secondary, meeting with the people, visiting, the lasers, and the hugs is what set us all apart from the others, truly phenomenal, I'm very proud to be on here.

This should go in another thread and sorry if there is one started, but I had this happen to me about two weeks ago and it was a broken wire to the altenator that would sometimes work and sometimes go wacky. It finally broke completely which is how I found it after shaking wires around to see if that would fix it. I replaced it and it worked fine since.

Looking back at the last few WCBF's I added the almost identical 2,500 km (1,500 miles) on the Bullet.

So over 5 Meets that's 7,500 miles or 22% of the total mileage on it.
