New here with a 95 bonneville Se

Post by gearhead291 »

just picked up a 95 bonnie. with a series II. owned its whole life by two separate old ladys. according to the history report and the small town guy i got it from. 143K. had a bad misfire when i got it. also had the original plugs and wires.plugs where set to .090. got new plugs and wires and it runs flawlessly. its mostly base but i do have leather and center console. i have a lot of mods planned for this car. ive rebuilt many different LH cars and not really new to this, but new to the car. i wanna add the bose sound system and HUD and some other things. hopefully i can find some info on how to do those things here. here some pics. it NEEDS paint. has some stains in the carpets too. but i havent even had time to clean it.

Welcome to the forum... when you have a minute see if you have Codes H4U and 1SC or 1SD....

I get the feeling you may have an H4U 1SC Bonneville... If not then you have very strange SE

Pre-96 only had the SLE package for SEs. So, technically it's an SE. The 96+ were actually badged and sold as SLEs.

All of the 93-99 SLE's were Vin'd as SE's... 1G2HX so it was a package added to an SE when ordered.. In the later years 98-99 they could be ordered with the SSE trim kit and SLE badges..

But this is a strange car for a 1SD equipped H4U( SLE )

I do like the oddly equipped cars... This would be one for sure...

Also curious, do you have the Remotes for the car?
