Free XM Radio

Post by 2003 SSEi »

For everyone that has the factory installed in their cars, XM will offer free service at certan times during the year.

Currenty 2/5/12 you can listen to about half of the XM channels for free.

I will be updating this post when the XM is available/not available

Thanks for posting this. Have had the SE several months. Didn't think the Pioneer XM receiver in it worked. By accident turned it on last night and it showed >preview< but had no idea how to use it. Didn't dawn on me it would be hooked up to only be on at Run.

Your post reminded me to get a users manual today. Now can check it out. Don't really have a use for it but the geek in me wanted to play with it and can think about selling it, if it works. Antena lead causes a minor leak on trunk lid seal.

Sirius page is showing 1/30/13-2/12/13 ATM.

The Preview Channel always works, its whole goal is to try and get you to re-subscribe to XM...

I had a standalone unit a while back I constantly get emails telling me it's back on and for such and such a price I can get it back on. I contimplated getting it again but now with pandora on my phone it's redundant.

Got a chance to Preview yesterday. I'd need to be doing OTR trucker mileage to want to pay the fee.

Cleanness of the FM interface kind of surprised. Have been listening to CDs almost exclusivly lately so the music seemed lackluster. I'd only use it for talk....IOW wouldn't use it.
