go to Advance or you local parts store of choice....and get the Lifetime replacement wires, i think Belden or the AC's are the lifetimers.

The only performance mods (if these few are justified as performance) I might do are the Plog, downpipe, cat, FWI, and PCM tune; possibly a shift kit when I drop the pan/filter. And that's if I ever get that far.

If you get that far, you'll want a set of colder plugs, but for now stock replacements will be just fine.

Would you care to elaborate more on the "colder plugs"? I'm not familiar with the phrase.

No AutoZone period or just no ignition parts from them?
I wouldn't run ignition parts from them anyways.

I would suggest putting Lucas Fuel Systems Cleaner in your gas, rather than Seafoam. I've been told numerous times by different people, that putting Seaform in your engine is like dumping sand in the cylinder. So I just strayed away from that brand and tried the Lucas. When I put a full bottle in my old car, it made my gas mileage jump through the roof. I think on my trip to the Northwoods, I averaged somewhere between 38 and 42 mpg. Before the Lucas, my average highway mpg was pushing mid 20's at best. I also put the big bottle in my gas, the one that treats up to 80 gallons. So maybe that had to be a big part of the great mpg's. As far as adding a higher octance fuel, just dump in some octane booster additive for the time being until you are for sure the lesser grade is gone.

Auto-Zone is fine for oil, detailing supplies, additives, etc. But as far as replacement parts, don't get them there, unless it's a name-brand, and at that point you're going to pay far too much...

Spark Plug Heat Range info: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spark_plug#Heat_range

Moral of the story: More Boost = more heat, necessitating a colder plug to offset this.
