my cat just started rattling at idle. dose this mean i need a new one?

give it a punch, and if it rattles, yep, replace it....with a magnaflow!

Do you actually have emissions testing in your area?

My Magnaflow worked miserably for me and caused me to fail.

Magnaflow worked great forme... but no emission testing here...

we have testing here but cars 1995 and older are exempt

well i live in the same area as eric .. and we do have testing.
when i purchased the hi flow cat .. the shop "assured" me there would be no issues with
emission testing.
I dont have to go until next year but i sure hope there are no issues.. :???:

thanks for all the replies but it turned out to just be the cats heat shield one of the rubber pecies broke off.
