Heater just blow cold air instead of hot

Post by zvega88 »

Heater was working fine back on January and now that we are hitting winter I noticed the heater is my working. Everything seems to be fine, it blows air but no hot air coming out. Does anyone knows why is this happening? -Z

check your coolant level ,hoses, and you might need to flush the system. also on the temp dial on dash one of the little tongs had folded over screwing up the control setting on mine. easy fix. from my experience you got two possible problems.....cooling system needs attention(any loss of fluid or loss of pressure in system will affect heating), or your tempterature controller in dash. check fuses while your at it...

could also be your heater air door is closed. there are a few topics about this if you search for "airmix actuator" or air door you should find something.
