The best Bonneville? *Update*

Post by razr89a »

What is the best bonneville?

Some considerations: Superchargers are more fun, V8's are louder, V6's get better gas mileage.
It really depends on what you like if you love V8's better then Supercharged V6 engines then we know what you'll choose or vise versa..

*EDIT* :bsnicker: THERE YOU GO!! more generations lol

Please keep this as civil as possible, I added more generations so that you guys can vote on a bit more..don't make this a civil war on the Pontiac Bonneville Club. Thank you

Ya know... pissing match. A fight between what gen is best. I have a strong feeling this will turn into a 92-99 is better than 00-05, 00-05 is better than 92-99, 87-91 is better than 92-99, etc. etc.....

Come on, man. If your post has nothing to contribute to the discussion, don't post. It's very simple. There's no need to be a post whore.

Use deductive reasoning to determine what "pissing match" means.

Well, my biased opinion is not included.

But for whats there, I'd go '00+ SSEi for sure, though I don't know enough to distinguish the best out between '00-'03.

May I ask why you only include the new generations?

I have 05-04 to 03-00 to 99-96

I think that's a very fair generation...
As i'm not really interested in 95 - I don't really want to vote on that..
96 + body styles are the best IMO and therefore is what I'd like to see the votes on

'03 SSEi. I already have one :P

Also, so you know, all '00 - '05 are the same gen. There isn't a gen difference between '00 - '03 and '04 - '05.

I think a lot of us wish they did.

The problem is the different years aren't really apples to apples IMO. To me the '00+'s are different enough in looks from the previous generations to not be comparable. We'd have to have an option in the poll for ALL years to make it fair, and it couldn't be about which is best... It would have to be a which do you LIKE the best.

But, that's just me. :ack:

What kind of poll is this? There's no Normally Aspirated models to vote for!
Advantages:
Runs on less expensive fuel.
SE model with column shifter: 6 passengers! Woo Hoo! (This actually came in handy for me once.)
Simpler low-end HVAC controls, no DIC to fail, no HUD to fail, = less-expensive maintenance costs for these items.

Ummm . . .yeah, okay, so that's about all.
