Help p0401 code. anyone got .02

Hey guys, sorry to bring this up again. After doing a weeks worth of search button, I have tried all types of things to fix this. I am getting p0401 (for those that don't no or remember, it's egr flow recirculation) I clear it and it will come back. My car info is in my signature. I have tried pulling the egr valve and cleaning it. Also pulled the egr tube cleaned that as well. Next I checked and double checked all the vacuum line I just replaced . I do have one concern the T on the top of fpr might be to small for the right amount of air to travel through. (should that matter?) : after wearing out the search button I find that it could be many things I. E map sensor or even o2 sensor. There has to be something else I can try before I go buy un needed sensors. I would like to thank you guys for any help given. I have talked with our local Bonneville grave yard hustler he has to the sensor I need, I'm not sure if it's time to start buying them.

Im noticing that when i reset the code and driving it will only through a cel when im costing to a stop

How many miles on car? Have you ever replaced the EGR?

sorry i guess that would help! 215719 miles . i have never replaced the egr there was a rebuild done im not sure if they replaced it that was before i got the car.

Usually a rebuild does not replace things such as the EGR unless they are specifically requested or known to be bad.

I ordered one from harofreak. I I hope that will work. Although the car runs great.

Just a quick update I took off the egr tube again just to be sure there was no hair line crack. I the tube looks like new. I pulled all the vacuum off and put air pressure through it not a leak, I am very concerned that the vacuum line I used is not the same Id as the stock one. I hope that's not a problem. I have drove the car for one whole day with no cel. I will be taking a 50 mile trip today I will post back when I'm home tonight. I did buy a new used egr from haro. I will hope that s the issue. He said we could work out something if it's not the issue. I have a good Sunday guys

I have got the egr from harofreak and put close to 100 miles . i was hoping this fixed it . Not the case cel has come on a two times now . not like it did every cost to stop but maybe every other cycle cosing to a stop . ..

Update

I still am getting the same code. I have it down to almost science. If I don't get into boost I never get the cel. Any if I get above 5lbs boost I will get the light next time I cost to a stop. I m thanking the vaccum I have put on might be leaking under boost. Anyone have ideas?
