Been a 'car nut' all my life, owned a couple of Pontiacs - a '64 Catalina Ventura and a '68 Firebird; drove a '80 Phoenix X-body and a '83 6000 A-body that were company vehicles. This was all back in the 70's and 80's. I've always been in love with station wagons, and I'm a very active member of the station wagon forum ( http://www.stationwagonforums.com/forums/index.php )
I've finally been able to initiate purchase of a '81 Bonneville Safari.
It's a very low-mile example currently residing in the midwest. I'm wondering if any of the members here may know anything about the vehicle's history. It was supposedly owned by a collector who showed it a little, and drove it hardly at all. I'm buying it from the guy who purchased it from his estate.
Looking forward to chatting with all of you Pontiac Bonneville experts.
