After market remote start
I have a 01 ssei and have never had possession of the key fob.. Do with winter approaching I was going to invest in a remote starter and alarm.. Which ones are preferred and which ones aren't... Please give reasons why cheaper the better

Get your FCC ID and just find some remotes on E Bay.

I've had experience with AstroStart remote starters, and they seem to be really nice. IMO, though, I would just set up the aftermarket fob to set your factory locks and alarms. I've seen a lot of cars have a lot of problems from aftermarket alarms.

That is just how to find out which factory FOB you would need. Remote start was not available for these and would have to be aftermarket.
