That could easily be true... It's a commercial hearse/ambulance. Final assembly wasn't done by Pontiac, it was done by the coach builder that finished the partial vehicle. (in other words, the title could say 1967 even though the vehicle was constructed with 1966 model year parts, the first issued title comes when the coach builder finishes and sell the vehicle.
