My Bonne just started acting funny.
Yesterday I went to step on it alittle to pass some twit as soon as the boost gauge hit 0 psi and the SC was about to kick in the car bogged and acted like it wanted to stall.
So I did some reading on here and the old forum and did the bypass trick with the BCA/BCS and the problem is solved temporarily.
So I have some questions regarding the BCS and BCA.
When you do the bypass is it normal for the boost gauge not to go above 0 psi ?
How do I know if the problem is the BCS or the BCA ?
What causes the BCS to fail ?
What position is the BCA arm supposed to be in at idle, extended or in ?
When is the boost supposed to show 100% on the scan tool ?
Any help would be great,
Thanks in Advance,
Dutch

No.
How do I know if the problem is the BCS or the BCA ?
If you pull the bottom tube off the BCA and boost returns to normal, it's ths BSC or the PCM telling it to dump boost. Scan it. If boost doesn't come back, look for vacuum leaks in or leading up to the BCA.
What causes the BCS to fail ?
Who knows.

Pulled in.
When is the boost supposed to show 100% on the scan tool ?
Most of the time. That means it isn't trying to dump whatever is there. The car has no way to actually know how much boost is present. You may have a MAP sensor, but it is solely for the gauge on the dash. If the PCM is trying to dump, it'll say 0%.
No.
