My 96 Bonnie with a CAI pulled along pretty good. When I first got my GP, I would drive both cars and I have to say that the 96 would keep up with the GP untill you got to 50-60 mph. Of course once the GP got breathing, it would walk away from the Bonnie.

Ok just returned from a trip and got a new personal best. I drove 116.1 miles cruising at 70mph with some slow speeds and redlights through a couple of small towns. When i got to my station i put in 3.287 gallons for a total of 35.3 miles per gallon!

Not bad!

Last week I crammed another 980 miles on my car. It did remarkably well again!

Today I changed the oil...this time I went 8K miles on the dino juice. :eek2:

So, I'm pushing her limits again!

Each day for the past week or so has been 125+ miles a day. Thursday I have to run to Northern MI and back in the same day. That'll be a 300+ mile day.

Then, Saturday AM we're headed to Nashville, TN for one night for the CMA Country Christmas concert.

The next few days will come close to 2,000 miles, and I'm expecting her to take it a like a champ!

Very Nice Mark. Glad to see we're not the only ones racking up the miles on our car(s)...

I always say..."I didn't buy my Bonneville to sit in the garage!"

I think we all bought our cars because there large, reliable, comfortable, economical, prone for long distance driving and HIGH MILEAGE!!

Hope everything goes well for ya! Anxious to hear your arrival back home with another successful trip under your Bonnies belt!

We got back from the trip earlier today. The car did remarkably well yet again! We piled on 1,400 miles in two days. I didn't calculate gas mileage this time, but I'm certain it was on par with past experiences. She officially has over 220,000 miles now!
