That's right, the sensors read in millivolts (mV). Thanks Archon for the info.

Just browsing over the topic, did you by any chance get to check the fuel pressure like Ed had mentioned ?

I would suggest trying this... (unplug your MAF sensor)
-you purchased a used one or a new one? I just replaced mine and it was a world of difference. I tried the cleaner, it work until I got to a light, then the car stalled and never started again until the MAF was unplugged.... I purchased one from NAPA for 137.00 here in Hawaii.

it was a new maf sensor. and i get the code p0171 once a day
