After searching posts, nothing quite matches my problems. I want to get some opinions before i rip the door panel off. The front passenger window will not got down, not even from driver control. The power locks work and the passenger back window and locks work. When i try to roll down the window I hear a faint noise coming from behind the door panel, a click or something, like something is trying to work. I'll take any advice at this point. thanks
Matt

While in the passenger seat, try this. Hold the button for the window to go down, and then slam the door closed, hard! Alternately, while holding the button, hit the interior door panel with your fist below the arm rest. It may take a few times, either way.

Wonder what the real fix is for this before I tear mine apart. I hear the click to and mine will click every time that it does not go down, or up. I don't think the motor needs replacing as once it moves it moves quickly. Once down some times it works intermittently, coming back up or going the rest of the way down. Ussally waiting a few seconds and pushing the button again it will go up or down.

slamming my door ended up working. haven't had a problem since

Slamming the door got mine working, however like I said in my previous post its kinda intermittent. I guess I will have to take it apart. Clean all contacts and lube up what should be lubed. Maybe the control box has a relay going bad.

these windows work on a rope a pulley method . so if a chain snapped or pulley is broken the motor will still sound like somethings moving but nothings happening .
best bet is to pop that panel off and look . the panels come off pretty easy . the regulator even comes out pretty easy too .

When you take it apart to lube it, also remove the motor from the regulator and activate it a few times. This should change the position from its normal start/stop point.Nocrank wrote:Slamming the door got mine working, however like I said in my previous post its kinda intermittent.
