Hello everyone, I just bought a 95 Bonneville and the radio controls on the steering wheel dont work, whats some things to look for/at, I dont see anything about it in the fuse box, is it powered by the radio itself? should I check the connection on the back of the radio or is there something simpler I can start with?
Ive seen other forums/topics about rebuilding or replacing the buttons but I'm not sure thats the problem because none will work no matter how hard I press them and if that is the problem then I can just deal without!
Steer wheel radio controls.

There is a fuse at the base of the steering column. Remove the panel above the footwell. It is the only fuse in that area. Although the problem is most likely the clockspring in the steering column, if you have already replaced the controls. The fuse is easy enough to check though.

Thanks sonoma_zr2 , I looked but dont see a fuse anywhere under that panel, do you know what type of fuse Im looking for? is it possibly inside a harness or covered up by something else?

They are the same fuses as in the fuse panel. It is a fuse holder that contains 2 fuses and is usually wrapped in foam and taped to keep it from clicking if it bangs against anything. The wire that goes in and out of it is a 4 wire ribbon cable. (if I remember correctly)
