Post by Ben1998SLE »

I'm looking to replace the exhaust on my 98 SLE and am looking for some suggestions/pointers on what the best exhaust systems out there are.

3" down pipe, hi flow cat, I think you can get speed daddy headers to fit also.

Except supposedly ZZP doesn't make the 2.5" DP anymore...

Why are you looking to replace the exhaust, and what do you feel like it's necessary to replace? Nothing behind the cat is causing restriction, so that will only affect sound.

A good exhaust shop should be able to make ya a DP. And I would stick with the stainless since you are in Milwaukee.

Hey thanks guys! The reason I'm looking for one is because most of the piping and muffler as it is right now are rusting out. The muffler has gone bad producing a very obnoxious ricey sound. I'm going to start looking around for car shops that will get me a DP. How does ziebarts sound?
