The guy with the red marbled paint job on the Bonneville GXP

Post by tripscarcare95 »

Hey Everyone

Just wondering if this member is still around, he had a Bonneville GXP with a red marbled paint job. I remember seeing pictures of his car on stone roads.

I cant recall his user name?

His username is Venom but he's not a member of this club. I believe he is still active on other sites though.

:stupid:

GXP_Venom is his name. Like Norm said, he's active on other forums, although IIRC that car's been re-painted or something again. I know he took the air-ride suspension off...

It depends on how memorable your actions were to get banned. ;)

It actually is not really an easy thing to get banned from this forum, and there has never been any one single person throwing the ban stick on this forum. It has always been a discussion between all moderators and admins over every issue before someone is banned. Even after a ban is laid out, they are usually for a short period of time first then of issues keep arising they ban can go permanent.

It's generally 3 strikes and you're out, and there's mediation and stuff in the middle. I've been on the receiving end of it, and you don't just get them for anything, and usually it's a pattern of behavior that leads up to the warnings, etc.

Very true. On forums it's pointless to argue and bicker over the small stuff, or anything really over forums. Trying to prove that your omnipotent and have the "little deeck syndrome" is childs play, being rude and a jackass to others who are here looking for help and can never find it because of the trolling is sad . Let em' think that they have the upper hand is the sweestest victory IMO. :btruestory:

About this paintjob...

Of course  they are always innocent and being picked on etc... every forum is run a certain way and there is always people that don't quite mesh with one way or another. You just can't make everyone happy, we all know that. I was a mod here for a while and I can tell you that I still keep in touch with a few people that have been banned, just because someone is banned from a forum it doesn't make them a bad person or make the forum a horrible place. I would hope that I can safely say that I am trusted here as a stand up guy and I will tell you that everyone that gets banned here is for a reason, and it is never a personal thing from one staff member or another. There is a system of checks and balances upstairs that believe it or not actually works extremely well.

I can tell you that one or two issues won't get you banned unless they are something extreme. This forum has always been about responsibility with cars, nodding, and everything else involved. No trash talk, no drama, no BS etc... sure, some gets out once in a while, but I absolutely say this is still a great site compared to others I have witnessed in the past.

As for that GXP... it certainly was a sweet looking car!
