OMG BEAR!
So...On my way back from picking Will up and coming back to my place we were about 15-20 miles away from home and something was going across the road in front of me. It wasn't moving like a deer and was way too big to be a coyote. It...was a flippin bear! This has been my first wild bear encounter.
2002 Bonneville SSEi 4+ years ownership 103xxx miles.

Scared the crap out of me... I was about half awake, only thing keeping me awake was the Monsoon audio... That bear definitley woke me up! For sure a first encounter for me too. This is a great trip so far though! Loving it!

Last year one ate my base camp in British Columbia while i was climbing the mountain , when i got back down my cousin shot it with a bow. It played possum and we knew it so he walked up bow frawn and when it reared he shot it straight through the side of the skull.
