Based on my recent experiences on another Forum (non-GM), I'd like to pose a few questions. I would appreciate as many replies as possible.

1. If you are a recently new member (last 2 years), do you find it helpful that our Gearheads are clearly identified by RANK? Does that make a difference when you read their replies?N/A

2. If you are a more veteran member, do you think the Gearhead rank is being properly used here?yes

3. If you had to pick 5 people from our membership to work on your car, how many of those 5 would be Gearhead-ranked members?1 Retired Gearhead, 1 Admin, 1 Moderator, 1 Site Developer 1 Vetran member

4. Have you ever experienced a Forum where a new member cannot identify knowledgeable members? yes a ricer/tuner site

5. Did you know that our Gearheads now have total control of our Techinfo section?No, but a good choice to keep it accurate and up to date

6. Did you know that our Gearheads have their own hidden section of the Forum where they actually discuss amongst themselves the more complicated and difficult problems our members post? yes (wish i could have a peek)

ALL 5 Gearhead or higher rankings, certainly Harofreak and 00Beast

A2 - "mu" [mu = unask the question]

A3 - "mu" [am not flying in 5! Gearheads to my garage to work on my Bonne]

A4 - "YES" [inexperienced or desperate owner of a dead/useless car do not care about such]

Q5. Did you know that our Gearheads now have total control of our Techinfo section?
A5 - "NO"

Q6. Did you know that our Gearheads have their own hidden section of the Forum where they actually discuss amongst themselves the more complicated and difficult problems our members post?
A6 - "NO" [why mention it here?...doing so implies you specifically chose to, for some enlightened purpose; most of us have private comm networks too...so what?]

1. I just joined today, so I'm not sure yet, but by how well layed out and packed with info this forum is, in due time I feel that the answer will be yes.

3. I can't say yet, too soon, but I feel that I'll pinpoint "those guys" soon enough ;D

4. Yes, but luckily not a one I am a member of anymore.

5. I had no idea honestly, but that seems like a smart move considering what it takes to achieve the status.

6. No, but that's sick actually, an ooold forum I used to be a part of for gaming (Call of Duty clan as an example, just much borader covering of games) had a section like that, which I did eventually gain access to. It's very cool, like the hidden inner workings of the Bonneville Pro's
