changing upper and lower intake

Talk about the other 3800 powered GM cars, particularly for items not covered in other sections that may be unique to your year/model, and differ from a Bonneville.

im new here and had some question about my car i have a 97 grand prix 3800 series non sepercharge and i just change the upper and lower intake. but for the lower intake gasket kit it has 3 o ring were do they go?? and the upper gasket kit has extra stuff to couple of o rings n tha felt looking gasket wat is that is it just extra stuff i dont need i dident see none of this wen i took everything off need help...???? :banghead:

Can you put up pics? If they are yellow o-rings they are for the supercharger, but you dont have one.

And your other threads were locked because you were asking the same question you did here.

Can you put up pics? If they are yellow o-rings they are for the supercharger, but you dont have one.

no there not yellow the o rings 3 orange ones and one black one and the gasket is grey wit a red line going around it...
The orange ones are probably the coolant elbow o rings, should have 4. And does the gasket have a triangle shape on one end? Probably for the throttle body. Pics would really help us help you.
